About the company:
Prydunayskiy PJSC is a vine nursery with a long history, located at 45 latitude of the classic red wine belt. The history of the enterprise dates back to 1958.
Entity operates 588 hectares, 121 hectares from that are vineyards. As a result of perennial selection, 89 hectares of zoned mother plantations of table vines as well as technical vines varieties and 37 hectares of mother plantations of rootstock vines were planted.
Our mother plantations have a high frost resistance and drought tolerance throughout the year.
The value of production is 2 mln grafted seedlings, 4.5 mln rootstocks, 400 ton table grape, 300 ton vine grape.
There are the best grape varieties for Ukraine were studied and cultivated based on the company. The grapevine collection includes more than 100 table and 30 technical varieties, not including the clone variety. All varieties are maximally adapted to the conditions of our region and provide the expected quality and quantity of the yield.
Grafted seedlings
Classic bare – rooted plants.
Climatic conditions indicate the location and stability of the planting material. In some years, the annual temperature amplitude was 74 ºС. Winter minimum – 26ºC, summer maximum + 48ºC. Annual precipitation can be 250-280 mm.
We grow seedlings from our own material as well as from the customer’s material.

Rootstocks
Cober 5BB, planted 2005 and 2007 years. Collection (10 varieties), planted 2002 year
Genealogy: Vitis Riparia x Vitis Berlianderi. Growth energy level: high. Type of soil: meager and wet soil
It is well adapted to replace dead grapes in old vineyards. Maximum lime tolerance: 20%
Cultivated in 1904 in Austria from the free pollination of Vitis Berlandieri and Vitis Riparia.
Resistance to fungal diseases and root phylloxera – high.
Variety history
The variety is high-tech, gives little overgrowth, a small number of powerful stepchildren are formed on the shoots.
Even in the absence of proper volume of pre-work, the yield of cuttings suitable for grafting is quite high. The disadvantages of the variety include such features as the long growth of shoots and a long growing season. The volume core adversely affects the process of fusion of the grafting. The trunk formed from this rootstock often thickens more slowly than the eyes variety.
